ECG Stairstep Exhibit

Part of a series of biomedical exhibits installed at the W5 Science Center in Belfast Ireland. This exhibit monitors your ECG signal through two electrically isolated hand plates. The ECG signal is amplified, low pass filtered and then passed into the PC soundcard. A LabVIEW software application monitors the ECG waveform. When a stable signal is present, a phase locked animation of the human heart starts beating.
